Are You a Candidate for Skin Rejuvenation or Resurfacing
The answer is "Yes" if your skin shows evidence of chronic exposure to the sun's ultraviolet light. Physicians call the condition "photodamage," and the most obvious signs are coarsening of skin texture, wrinkling, irregular pigmentation, and various pigmented lesions, enlarged blood vessels and pores.
Skin rejuvenation is the visible improvement of sun damaged skin through the use of laser technology to remove enlarged blood vessels and irregular pigmentation, and stimulate the underlying collagen. In addition to these signs of early aging, laser rejuvenation improves dull complexions, uneven pigmentation and large pores, as well as red flushing skin and rosacea. |

Restore your beautiful skin.
Unsightly birthmarks, spider veins on the face and legs, age spots, sun spots, freckles, and unsightly excess hair affect millions of people.
While these may not be medical problems, many of our patients would like to get rid of these unattractive distractions to their natural beauty.
Skin blemishes, due to abnormal blood vessels located directly under your skin's surface that give the skin a red color, are called vascular lesions. Port wine stains, strawberry hemangiomas and spider veins (telangiectasias) are all forms of vascular lesions. |

Pigmented lesions are caused by a proliferation of melanocytes in the skin. Melanocytes are the cells that manufacture melanin, which is the dark pigment in skin. Most of us have some form of pigmented lesion. They include brown age spots, freckles, and moles. Sunlight, the elements, and the natural aging process all contribute to the development of dark spots and freckles. |
