No varicose vein, after it has already developed, will go away by itself. However, if we will apply systematic treatment of them, further changes can be prevented.
The faster the treatment of varicose veins starts the better. Today there are two methods of treating varicose veins.
The first is a non-invasive method, the so-called conservative method, for example wearing specially designed pressure pantyhose.
The second one is a "corrective" method such as EVLT, an ambulatory phlebectomy or ultrasound guided sclerotherapy. In many cases, combinations of all of these methods are used.
